God's command to Hosea was to "Love your unfaithful wife... like God loves his unfaithful wife." Spiritual adultery is the primary biblical illustration of sin. Your sin will never truly wreck you until you begin to view it as spiritual adultery. Jesus didn't say a perfect marriage will make you satisfied.
